If you’re here, you probably want some sort of change in your life. Maybe this is your first time contemplating therapy or maybe you have gone for years-either way, trying something new is hard! There are life moments that seem unbearable, too difficult to process, or like everything is numbly passing you. Trauma, anxiety, depression, and many life factors add up: hope can be hard to come by. If that is you, if you are low on hope- I have news. I can help with that.
Sometimes, no matter how much effort we put in, clarity eludes us, or we get overwhelmed. On top of this, many of us harbor guilt and shame for wanting support. If you feel anxious, detached, stuck, depressed, overwhelmed, or are constantly reminded of traumas- therapy is a great place to start.
I am a Veteran and a military spouse. I firmly believe in the connection between mind/body. Meaning- to feel your best, you need to be healthy in both.
I love helping people reveal and recognize their own abilities and strengths. I have experience with anxiety, depression, life/family changes, trauma, aging, stress management, and emotional regulation. I have worked with Veterans, military spouses, and active duty, including the transition period out. I incorporate multiple evidence-based practices and believe in collaborative care. We will work to find the best approach for you. This includes building and honing different skills you can apply to your everyday life.
We will identify your goals and work as a team to increase your well-being both physically and mentally. It would be an honor to walk alongside you. Your strength and resilience will be on display as you recognize your ability to improve your self-esteem and relationships. Together, we will create positive change and help you see what you’re made of!
